Door Security Solutions (DSS), under the Americas division, is amongst the first of the Group to have methodically achieved meaningful engagement with people through The Rocket Ship.
It is a strategy that centers around customers, ensuring our frontline staff and technical specifications writers speak the language of the end-users’ profession. The approach is to use consultative selling techniques. Instead of presenting a particular product, we ask the right questions to learn about end-users’ preferences and big headaches in order to find solutions and in turn, helping them make the right purchasing decisions.
Customer support made easy
One of our proud creations that stems from Rocket Ship is the ASSA ABLOY Customer Support App. Currently available on Android and iOS for US and Canada, and soon a global service tool, the App provides direct support for all subsidiary brands under the Group’s umbrella. Users will only have to tab on the brand they use to get instantly connected with the right service team. If the issue is too difficult to describe by words, the app allows users to illustrate problems by drawing on the phone’s screen, or talk it out over a live video call.
